Your First Visit
Our goal for your first appointment is to get to know you as best we can, both when it comes to your dental needs as well as your personality. After being checked in by our friendly front desk team, if you are taking advantage of our special discount for new patients, you will be greeted by one of our outstanding dental hygienists and will have your teeth cleaned. If you are here for a dental consultation, you’ll be escorted to your treatment room to meet your dentist, and they’ll take a moment to chat with you before performing an oral exam. If necessary, an assistant will take a few diagnostic images and X-rays of your mouth. Afterward, your dentist will discuss their observations with you, answer your questions and recommend any additional treatments you might need.

Dental Insurance Information
Several members of our administrative team are experts in dental insurance. They have years of experience helping our patients maximize any dental benefits they are eligible to receive.
Dental insurance, like other forms of health insurance, is an ever-changing, complex industry. We are happy to submit all claims on your behalf and include any supportive X-rays, photographs, and narratives that companies may request. We often assist with strategic prioritization and phasing of treatment to bridge benefit periods to decrease patient out-of-pocket expense.
If your insurance plan pays us directly, we will only ask to collect your predicted portion. If the plan pays less than anticipated, each patient is responsible for their own balance. We will make every effort to accurately predict your insurance benefits, but sometimes, insurance companies do not share exact benefit information or change benefits without the patient’s knowledge. Even after receiving a written predetermination of benefits, insurance companies don’t guarantee the exact amount they will pay. To help you in receiving your maximum benefits, it is very important that we receive copies of insurance communications. The Explanation of Benefits (EOB) is sometimes only sent to the patient. This is a crucial document for appeals and billing of any secondary policies. Please bring a copy of your EOB to us.
As you may see, maximizing dental insurance benefits is complicated. Let us help you with it! Please refer to Interest Free Financing for additional payment options.
Interest-Free Financing
CareCredit is a personal line of credit for healthcare treatments and procedures for your entire family. It works like a credit card but it has two advantages. It can only be used for healthcare services, and you may be able to get interest-free financing every time you use it. Simply pay your minimum monthly payment and pay off the entire balance by the end of your agreed upon period and you pay no interest. If you need more time to pay for your procedure, you can take advantage of our extended payment plans with low, fixed interest rates.
Online Payments
For added convenience, we are now offering online payments! Instead of having to pick up the phone or stop by the practice in person, our patients can now click the button below and cover the cost of treatment in just minutes without having to leave the safety and comfort of home. Your personal information is also stored securely every step of the way. Please don’t hesitate to contact our Greenbelt dental office if you have any questions or concerns about this new option.
Cancellation Policy
Please remember that our office has a $50 cancellation fee for appointments that are missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice. This fee is the patient's responsibility and cannot be forwarded to your insurance company. The fee must be paid for the next scheduled appointment.
